Supervision

Supervision shouldn’t just be about checking boxes and collecting hours. This is where we talk about the real stuff—challenging clients, boundaries, documentation, ethics, imposter syndrome, burnout, clinical judgment, and all the weird situations they definitely did not prepare you for in grad school.

My goal isn’t to teach you to practice exactly like me. It’s to help you figure out who you are as a clinician, strengthen your skills, and give you a space where you can ask questions, make mistakes, laugh a little, and grow into a confident LCSW.

Because we’re not just collecting 3,000 hours around here.

We’re turning saddies into baddies.

What we’ll work on

Clinical conceptualization • ethics • boundaries • documentation • difficult clients • countertransference • burnout • private practice • professional identity • preparing for independent practice

My supervision style

Expect questions, case consultation, actual feedback, probably some humor, and very little pretending that social work happens exactly the way the textbook said it would.

Who I’m a good supervisor for

LMSWs who want a supervisor who is:

  • direct but supportive
  • LGBTQIA+ affirming
  • trauma-informed
  • comfortable discussing real-world ethical situations
  • interested in helping you develop your clinical style rather than turning you into a copy of your supervisor
